About The Crossings Golf Club

The Crossings Golf Club originally opened in 1997. One of only two original Ron Garl designs in North Carolina, it is recognized as one of the most unique layouts in the Triangle area. The Triangle Business Journal voted The Crossings Golf Club as the Most Challenging Public and Semi-Private Golf Course in Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill in 2019, and as the BEST Public and Semi-Private Golf Course in Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill in 2020.

Recently purchased in 2024, the course is owned by Steven Schorr, a prominent real estate developer who has recently turned his attention to owning premier golf courses across the United States. With over 25 years in real estate and investment, Mr. Schorr has accumulated a diverse portfolio that spans commercial and residential properties across the country. His focus on golf and leisure properties has resulted in The Crossings showcasing a growing portfolio of golf facilities focused on quality, service, fun, and a passion for the game.

Mr. Schorr has chosen Pinnacle Golf Properties of Charlotte, North Carolina to manage The Crossings. Pinnacle has earned a reputation for quality management services with a focus on excellent customer service and golfer experience. Pinnacle brings state-of-the-art technology to their operations and yet still manages to retain great personal interaction with the guests that play their courses.

Starting Times

Public starting times can be reserved up to seven (7) days in advance for 2 to 4 players. Single players may not reserve starting times. Every effort will be made to pair single players with groups. Single players may call the Pro Shop to inquire as to availability. Groups of two or single players may be paired together at the discretion of The Club. The course reserves the right to move your tee-time by 10 minutes from its original reserved time.

Course Policy

One cart for 2 players. Two carts for pairings of 3 or 4 players. Single cart or spectator cart must be reserved in advance at an additional charge. Spectators must remain in cart at all times and are not allowed on weekends and holidays. Groups of 5 or more players are not allowed at any time.

Appropriate golf attire at all times. Golf shoes with soft spikes or soft sole shoes only. No jeans, cut off shorts, tee shirts, sleeveless shirts or halter tops.

Alcohol Policy

In accordance with the ABC Laws of North Carolina, it is unlawful and a criminal offense for customers to bring alcoholic beverages of any kind purchased from outside of The Crossings Golf Club onto the property. Contents of any containers brought onto the property are subject to viewing by Staff Members. If an attempt is made to bring alcoholic beverage onto the property, it will be confiscated, and you may be asked to leave.
